Brunswick locals gather for Community Iftar dinner.
ICMG Brunswick Mosque held their first Community Iftar dinner on Saturday 16 April at Brunswick Town Hall, making it their first major event since the pandemic restrictions eased.
Approximately 210 people were in attendance, including Brunswick locals, local government council members, local government council employees, Victoria Police officers and various faith leaders.
This initiative invites all people to come together during the holy month of Ramadan to break bread and facilitate fruitful mingling amongst locals.
It was a great way for locals to meet ICMG Brunswick Mosque members/volunteers and have a better understanding on the Islamic faith and how ICMG Brunswick Mosque serves their diverse community.
The Community Iftar dinner was proudly sponsored and supported by Senol Group and Moreland City Council.
